Terms of Service
Last updated June 2026
By creating an account or using Shadola, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
The service
Shadola is a language-practice tool: you shadow native speakers and receive AI pronunciation feedback for English, Chinese and Korean. Feedback is a learning aid and may not be perfectly accurate; it is not a certified language assessment.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account. You must be old enough to consent to processing under your local law, or have a guardian’s permission.
Subscriptions & billing
Free features are available without payment. Pro and Lifetime plans are billed through our payment provider at the prices shown at checkout (which may adjust to your region). Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the terms shown at purchase.
Acceptable use
Don’t abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell the service, and don’t use it to break the law or infringe others’ rights. We may rate-limit, suspend, or close accounts that do.
Content & intellectual property
Shadola, its software and design are ours. Third-party videos and materials remain the property of their owners; we link to and reference them for educational practice and do not claim ownership.
Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of Shadola.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
